Good Friday started with the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at my mom's house for all of the grandkids, cousins, and well, whoever else wants to drop off their child!
Emmanuel thought to himself, "Hmm...I did this last week...I think I want to play with my truck instead." Eventually, he dyed a few eggs, but only after playing with every truck outside.
After a long Good Friday, we were all well-rested on Saturday morning. Emmanuel was so rested that he thought he was BB King.
He had a time-and-a-half with his harmonica. Although he has a grandmother from both sides of the family, he actually has a 3rd grandmother--Granny D. Granny D is my sister-in-law's (brother's wife's) mom. She gave Emmanuel his harmonica, and he loves it and plays it very well.
So, after Emmanuel's show, we headed to one of the largest Easter Egg Hunts in Davidson County. In fact, this Easter Egg Hunt is located in the area that we are moving to, and it is sponsored by one of the large churches in the area. It is listed on the Top 50 List of things to do in Nashville (with your kids). A lot of the things on this list are located in the area we are moving to--woohoo!
Take a look at all of the eggs (if you can see them).
But, once he realized that there was candy in the eggs...the car went to daddy, and he started opening the eggs!
Here's a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup...
And, here is the chocolate on the lips!
"Daddy, I want more candy, please!"
Afterwards, we walked over and played on the playground for a little bit. Daddy and I were acting a little silly.
From the Foster Family to yours...we hope that you had an amazing Easter.
